Get Canon and Fujifilm colour, without needing to shoot Canon or Fujifilm.
The collection includes my favourite portrait colour camera matching profiles: Canon Standard (mirrorless), Classic Canon 5D DSLR, plus.....
Fujifilm-inspired: Astia/SOFT, Pro Neg Standard, Pro Neg High and Provia.
Everything is built from an Adobe Standard base. In controlled testing across Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Leica, Hasselblad and Ricoh, Adobe Standard measured at below ΔE 1 (non-visible to the human eye) between camera systems.
That gives the profiles a consistent starting point regardless of what camera you shoot.
The Canon and Fujifilm reference colours were then measured and translated into custom 3D LUT profiles, with the finished colour matches also reaching below ΔE 0.49 against their measured references.
So, if you shoot Sony, Nikon, Leica or anything else....... Start the editing process from the Canon or Fujifilm colour you love.
Kodak Gold 200 (nortisu)
Distinctive colour. Flexible editing.
Each Preset look pairs a custom colour profile with a Lightroom Preset, keeping colour, tone and finishing independently adjustable.
Colour in the profile
A custom 3D LUT shapes the colour relationships behind each look — from modern portraits to nostalgic digital and film.
Tone in your hands
The Preset via curves, basic panel and grain to match, establishes the contrast, tone and texture of real film, while in Lightroom you have full control to adjust
Finish your way
Add grain, texture and finishing effects to suit the image, from the tool & effects panel in lightroom!
Or use the photoshop actions to overlay real grain from your favourite film stock in different intensities, get that micro-contrast detail from film, and add halation bloom.
ΔE < 1
ΔE measures the difference between two colours.
Where direct colour references are available, the profiles are developed to minimise that difference, with measured results reaching below ΔE 1.
At this level, colour differences are generally considered visually imperceptible under normal viewing conditions.
Instead of simply moving sliders until a photograph feels roughly like the reference, the process asks a different question:
What is actually happening to the colour?
Once we understand that, we can recreate the colour response inside the profile, then independently build the tone, contrast and finishing characteristics around it.
Kodak Portra 400 (real film example)
A film stock doesn't have one definitive finished colour.
The scanner used to digitise the negative becomes part of the final interpretation.
That's why Fujifilm Pro400H, Portra 400 and Kodak Gold include both Frontier and Noritsu versions.
Same film stock, Same negative, Different scanner, Different colour response.
Rather than deciding which interpretation is “correct”, you can choose the one that works for the photograph and the skin tones in front of you.
The black-and-white stocks are supplied as Frontier interpretations only.
For this collection, Frontier scans were retained as the reference for their strong black density, defined contrast and distinctive lab-rendered tonal response.
Rather than create an additional Noritsu version without an equivalent measured reference, the profiles remain faithful to the scans actually used during development.
With monochrome film, scanner character is expressed less through colour and more through density, contrast, highlight roll-off and tonal response.contrast.
The film presets include Lightroom grain settings designed to complement their corresponding stocks.
For photographers who want the analogue side of the collection to go further, the optional Photoshop pack adds:
This gives you two options.
Stay completely inside Lightroom for a fast and flexible workflow, or add the irregular structure of real scanned film grain when you want the finished image to go further.

A custom 3D LUT profile establishes the colour relationships behind a look. The matching Lightroom presets then give you flexible control over tone, contrast, grain and finishing.
The collection is designed for Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop / Camera Raw. Photoshop finishing tools are included with the Complete option.
The colour profiles are built from an Adobe Standard base for supported camera RAW files. You can start from Canon- and Fujifilm-inspired colour even if you photograph with another supported camera brand.
An installation video and tutorial are included with the download. Follow the guide for the Adobe application you use.
